Autumn Update Letter 2018

We have had a busy Autumn looking after the estate and managed to sort out quite a few resident issues. Car park lines have been introduced in garage court 4 to ease conjestion. We have overseen further tree trimming around the estate as the continued grounds maintenance and grass cutting.

Thieves Have Damaged Two Garages

In the space of 1 week we have had reports of two garages being broken in to. One in garage court 1 and the other in garage court 4. On both occasions the thieves have failed to gain access, but have caused substantial damage to locks, the wooden surround and the garage doors themselves which unfortunately will result in a cost to the maintenance fee. All residents must remain vigilant and report any suspicious or criminal activity to the Police.

Recycling Bins Being Used Incorrectly

You must NOT put any non-recyclable plastic/bags in ANY of the recycling bins. Paper can ONLY go in the bin clearly marked PAPER, and cardboard must go in the mixed recycling bins. If further misuse continues then the bin collectors have warned us that they will refuse to collect the bins until rectified. Please all take care when recycling to follow the simple rules. Thanks.

Residents Car Parks Are For Residents Only

We all appreciate that parking in Leat Close can be tricky at times and is made more difficult with commuters and visitors etc. We are lucky to have some Private Residents Car Parks around the estate and this is just a reminder that residents car parks are for residents only. Please challenge anyone who is not a resident if they are using the private car parks and explain to them they are not allowed to park there.
