COMMITTEE MEETING

The Committee met on Thursday 10th October 2024

The Following items were discussed-

A. Repairs to the lighting along the path leading from Bullfields are due to take place.

B. Paving in front of No27 is scheduled to be tidied.

C. New signage was discussed.  Non-residents are parking in garage areas and in the Private Road.  It was also suggested that “no right of way” signs are put in the Private Road as many pedestrians use it as a cut through and there is no footpath.

The wording and cost of new signage will be investigated and discussed at the next meeting.

If you would like to join the Committee please contact a member of the team or email help@leatclose.org.uk

BIN AREAS

We have been having issues with our bins not being emptied by the Council as the wrong items are being placed in them. We would like to politely remind all residents of our bin use and recycling system.  Please check the signs on the bins, if you are not sure then put it in the black one!

Thank you for helping us to keep the estate tidy.

Black bins  Non-recycling household waste and minimal garden waste.

Blue bins One is exclusively for paper,  the other is for mixed recycling. Plastic bags and polythene wrap should NOT be placed in any of the blue bins as collection will be refused.

Please do not place large or electrical items (included large cardboard boxes) in the bins or leave them in the bin areas as they will not be taken. Please dispose of them responsibly at the local recycling centre.

The bins are to be used for household waste ONLY no commercial waste.

If you think your bin has been missed you can report it to the local council
