Theft from Motor Vehicle and Vehicle interference

The incidents took place in High Wych and Falconers Park.

Please be advised that we have seen a slight increase in vehicle crime over the last few days. Please remove all valubles from your vehicles and tools if possible.

Off road motor bikes and Mini Moto’s

We had an increase in calls regarding issues of Anti Social Behaviour around the use of motor bikes and mini moto’s.

Locations  mentioned are the back of The Crest towards Rivers Hospital and also Bullfields. Please let us know who they are as we would love to issue them with a Section 59.

Neighbourhood Watch: Sawbridgeworth Crimes

Sometime between 12-9.20pm on 7th November, a burglary has taken place at a property in Cutforth Road. Entry has been gained via rear garden gate and a window on a first floor extension and an untidy search has been made. Sometime between 7.30pm 7th and 7.30am 8th November, a burglary has taken place at a property in Northfield Road. Entry has been gained via smashing a rear door and an untidy search has been made. If you have any information or CCTV footage that may aid enquiries, please ring 101 ref 41/101002/19.

Sometime between 6pm 7th and 10am 8th November, front and rear index plates have been removed from a vehicle parked in Burnside. If you have any information about this crime, please ring 101 ref 41/100997/19.

At approx 6pm on 8th November, an attempt burglary has taken place at a property in Forebury Avenue. Offenders have been disturbed and run off. Damage to a yale lock has been discovered. If you have any information about this crime, please ring 101 ref 41/101176/19.

Neighbourhood Watch: Burglaries in Vantorts Road & Bakers Walk (Sawbridgeworth)

Sometime around midnight 01/09/2019, a burglary has occurred to a property in Vantorts Road. Circumstances are that keys to a vehicle have been taken via the back door of the property. If anyone has any information about this or any CCTV footage that may help our enquiries, please ring 101 and quote HC-01092019-0001.

Around midnight 02/09/2019, a burglary has occurred to a shop in Bakers Walk. Circumstances are that a large concrete planter has been thrown through a window and items taken. Neighbourhood Watch: Burglary on Station Road (Sawbridgeworth)

Police are currently investigating two burglaries that occurred in Bishop’s Stortford and Sawbridgeworth. On both occasions, the offender gained entry via the back of the property.

Crime number 41/41511/19 refers to a burglary in Elizabeth Road, Bishop’s Stortford, between 06:30 on the 05/05/19 and 12:00 on the 09/05/19.

Crime number 41/41994/19 refers to a burglary on Station Road, Sawbridgewoth, between 08:30 and 16:30 on the 10/05/19.
