Neighbourhood Watch OWL Scheme

Neighbourhood Watch is a great way for us to keep our homes and our community safe, as well as help to reduce crime. You can join more than 100,000 households and be part of a scheme now.

It’s proven that crime is often lower where there are active watch schemes in place. Neighbours can help make communities more secure by looking out for each other, keeping an eye on properties and sharing crime prevention advice.

The LCMA committee have joined Neighbourhood Watch and we receive regular local policing updates and alerts from the Safer Neighbourhood Team via email using Hertfordshire’s award winning Online Watch Link (OWL) communication system. We then re-post these updates to this website as a valuable resource for you, the residents. We also keep an eye on local information resources, local news, police groups and again will share any relevant information that can help residents of Leat Close.

We will also share any crime prevention tips and useful information for home owners to make their properties more secure.
